    What was the deal with Joe Varner at the BIA tree lighting? It’s a Christmas event for kids and the guy is scowling like he’s dragging his troops to the gulag.

    And now he has a broken ankle? Last year he hurt his other leg! Nobody’s that clumsy without the help of a whole lot of Captain Morgan’s.

    Quite a steep drop for Joe to go from cozy patronage position with Sussex Strategy to a crappy patronage position with the Bells Corners BIA. All the while his wife rises to greater heights in cabinet. It’s like the Nepean version of A Star is Born!
