This pedestrian hitched a ride to the drive-thru Rexall after walking to the Bells Corners strip from Qualicum. He was heading for the Bells Corners Toastmasters meet-up at the legion.

I gave him directions: “Walk south on Moodie/Old Richmond – on your left you’ll pass a church, a mosque, a small section of stacked townhomes and then the legion.”

A jolly couple from Kanata took a guided bike-taxi tour of the FreshCo asphalt meadow.

1951 West is closed already, less than two years after ma$$ive renovations. Was this review the beginning of the end?

    Looks like the 1951 West is coming down soon: a big fence around entire property, a huge tank-treaded heavy machine to crush the building, and dumpsters.

    – Wonder if this restaurant review in the Citizen made a difference? Peter Hum left “disgruntled”.
