The Scotiabank was hit yet again today, the third time in the past few years.

After last year’s robbery the thief was nabbed in the Bells Corners PS schoolyard, but no such luck today.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Ottawa police robbery section at 613-236-1222, ext. 5116, or Crimestoppers at 613-233-8477.

tongue in cheek … maybe a local business owner to pay the costs of space rental and BIA tax

joking aside – reading today’s Citizen story on westboro, how the ‘success’ of the ‘village’ and new hi-end condo infills, is now causing those who helped make the village successful to move due to high retail rental costs … also how it’s now lost the friendly neighbourhood feeling of residents knowing shop owners, or better still shop owners knowing their customers etc etc

the circle …. beware Bells Corners

Westboro now has as much charm as a preloaded template city for the video game “Sim City.” I find it drab, overcrowded with traffic and sterile-looking. I loved it back in the late 80s early 90s with all its little antique and junk shops plus numerous other little stores. It had a lot of character back then…
