Bell’s Corners bested

The Bell’s Corners hockey team lost its first game of the season, defeated by our arch-rivals City View. Andy Williams was good in nets for us and D.A. Moodie starred in the neutral zone, but City View had the last laugh thanks to an overtime marker by Honeywell on a pass from Runia.

Next up for our boys is the powerful latte-sipping squad from Westboro.

In other sporting news, our female pancake racing team went down to defeat against a tough team from Buckingham, England. The English team was led by Bells Corner’s belle Pamela Marshall.

A group of ten Bells Corners housewives has challenged the English team to a rematch flapjack race that will take place at the Bells Corners community rink at 7 p.m. A team from Liberal, Kansas has also been invited. Good luck, ladies!
